Swiss lawyers instructed us to identify UK assets belonging to a Russian businessman and his wife. Research identified £7m worth of property in London and Hampshire used by the wife but owned through an offshore corporate structure. In-depth investigations, identifying that the fiduciaries involved had acted for the Russian couple in other transactions, were sufficient for the Swiss courts to grant an order attaching the properties.
